How My Journey Started

Our Story

My journey with Autizm Out Loud began with my son, Eli.

When Eli was diagnosed with autism, my family entered a world filled with new questions, unfamiliar systems, overwhelming emotions, and the constant desire to make sure he had every opportunity to thrive.

There were many nights when Eli would not sleep, and I would stay awake tirelessly researching autism, therapies, resources, nutrition, education, and anything else that could lead us toward a better life. During that time, I experienced deep depression and often felt completely alone. I love my son with everything in me, but I was not prepared for this journey nor did I feel supported by people who truly understood what our family was experiencing.

As I searched for ways to help Eli grow, communicate, become more independent, and experience a better quality of life, I began to realize that many other parents were searching for the same things. Families needed more than information. We needed understanding, practical resources, advocacy, safe spaces, and a genuine community that reminded us we did not have to navigate this journey alone.

I am a wife, a mother of four, and an entrepreneur committed to helping create a better future for autistic children and the families who love them. What began as my personal mission to support Eli grew into a calling to support an entire community.

That calling became Autizm Out Loud Incorporated.

Autizm Out Loud Incorporated is built from lived experience, love, advocacy, and the belief that no parent should feel isolated and no family should have to walk this path alone. Through sensory-friendly events, parent support groups, educational workshops, community partnerships, family resources, and inclusive programming, we are building a village where every child is valued and every family feels seen, heard, understood, and supported.
